    該機最大的特點是該機由太陽光助力，不需要燃料。電池板能有效利用太陽光。
    這架名為Zephyr的太陽能飛機打破了以前太陽能飛機的所有記錄。這架重量在50公斤左右的飛機上周五開始于Arizona。
    智能化設計的翼展，翼尖，尾巴以及飛機座艙都有利于保持飛機場其飛行。儲存陽光的太陽能電池板不僅能讓該機實現(xiàn)白天無人駕駛飛行，也能進行夜間飛行。Zephyr此前太陽能飛機尺寸的2倍，最適合于軍事項目，可用于調(diào)查和通訊方面。

    QinetiQ’s development of a solar plane turns out to be very successful. With the help of a large number of Solar cells on top of the wing and in the stabilizer, the plane was successful in flight long term and made a new record of air time. It’s now an unmanned solar plane with the longest air time on record.

    The Best thing about the plane is that it is powered by sunlight and does not require fuels. Panels are designed to make efficient use of the sunlight.

    The Solar plane knows as Zephyr has broken all records of the previous solar planes. The plane which weighs in at about 50 kg in was launched from Arizona (US Army’s Yuma Proving Ground) last Friday and is in the air still.

    Intelligently designed wingspan, wingtips, tail, and cockpit helped the plane to remain in the air long term. Though it has been successful it of course cannot replace the fuel planes completely at this time. The Best thing about it is that it is pollution free. This unmanned vehicle not only is capable of flying during the day but also at night, the solar panels store sunlight during the day and charges the plane for night flying. It’s almost double in size than previous solar planes. It is best fit for the military purposes. It can help in investigations and communications.
